Rolls-Royce Introduces Their New Phantom 92 Years After Their First

Sir Henry Royce introduced the new Rolls-Royce Phantom in 1925 and 92 years later, it’s still one of the best cars in the world.

The new Phantom is the eighth generation of it’s kind and it’s been a pursuit of consistent refinement for the brand. The evolution of the Phantom has shifts towards new technologies and innovations, but still keeps that quiet and refined classic luxury feeling.

It’s always stayed true to it’s design and it’s become almost it’s own architecture, with it’s distinctive shape and form.

With silence being golden in this noisy day and age, Rolls-Royce is claiming that it’s the most silent motor car in the world, with over 130 kg of sound insulation.

Don’t take the silence lightly though, the Rolls-Royce is very, very powerful.

It packs a ‘6.75 litre, V12 engine, delivering 563bhp’ punch, all complimentary with the ZF 8-Speed Gear Box.

It’s also packed with loads of tech. The four-camera system provides a panoramic view of the car, also included with night vision, vision assist and active cruise control.

The Bottom Line

The Phantom brings a stunning interior to compliment the iconic exterior and brings almost a gallery front and centre instead of a dash. The interior is a gallery of displays, details and decoration. With the smallest, handcrafted hints of the dash and interior displayed summing up to quite the visual experience.

It’s been a long time since the very first Rolls-Royce Phantom, but we are glad to see it’s consistently pushing the boundaries of itself each and every time a new model comes out.
