A New Four Seasons Resort and Residences Is Coming To Belize

Belize is the latest focus for the Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts, with Caye Chapel being their newest destination.

We just came back from Belize last week and we could not be more happy with the decision, Belize is ripe for development.

Caye Chapel is just south of Caye Caulker, a ‘go slow’ island with beautiful waterfront property. Caye Chapel approximately 30 minutes water taxi from Belize City and if it’s anything like Caye Caulker, it will be a very relaxed and enjoyable island.

However, transportation to Caye Chapel is not as frequent and direct and Four Seasons is looking to change that by adding a private airstrip to the island, making their destination more accessible with less connecting flights.

The resort is scheduled to open in 2021 and the property will include beautiful oceanfront estates, 50 private estate lots in total, 35 private residences, including overwater bungalows.

Travellers looking to stay for a shorter time without a mortgage attached, they can enjoy a room within the 100-guest rooms available.

To take in the beautiful scenery further, guests and residents alike can challenge their golf skills on a new 18-hole golf course, designed by the legendary Greg Norman.

Don’t have a private jet ready to touch down on the private airstrip? Not a problem, the property will also have a marina that will make it easy for boaters to dock up.

The Bottom Line

We are very excited for this project. Belize’s coastal living is beautiful, the water is turquoise, the beaches are white, the people are friendly and it’s very easy to get to by boat, and now, by air. Belize is a developing country with a lot of terrific potential and the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts will be a great addition to that development. It will interesting to see how Caye Chapel’s development will affect tourism and future infrastructure on the beautiful country of Belize. We are looking forward to see how it plays out.
