10 Apr Rolex Welcomes Back The Black-Blue Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II
Rolex is bringing back a classic. The ‘Batman’ Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II with the two-colour 24-hour graduated Cerachrom insert in the newly adapted blue and black ceramic material.
The Oystersteel fitted watch has the classic Jubilee bracelet to make it more distinguishable ‘Rolex’ from the wrist of whoever sports it.
We loved the earlier renditions of the ‘Rootbeer’ (Brown and Black) and ‘Pepsi’ (Red and Blue) two-tones, so we are glad they brought this watch back in a nice, deep blue colour.

The Bottom Line
This particular Rolex made a splash as a favourite at this pastBaselworld and we would have to agree with the choice. We love the colour and love the functions of the GMT-Master II, especially with the ability to see two time-zones very clearly. Perfect for a traveler who crosses timezones a lot, a feature first introduced to pilots. The classic style mixed with the new tailored Rolex movement will make this a desirable watch for many.
